The Finance Office is responsible for the financial and administrative services and operations of the Archeparchy, including the chancery office, parishes, and institutions such as the Byzantine Catholic Seminary and Byzantine Seminary Press. The finance department exists to facilitate all temporal aspects pertinent to the operation and management of all Archieparchial entities under the jurisdiction of the Archbishop.

Finance Department functions:

• Archeparchial and parish fiscal matters, including Byzantine Catholic Seminary and Byzantine Seminary Press
• Uniform bookkeeping and reporting by parishes and institutions
• Property and liability insurance program
• Workers’ compensation
• Unemployment
• Payroll
• Benefits including hospitalization, simple IRA, pension, priest retirement benefits, and real estate
• Assists parishes in planning renovations and new buildings, legal contracts, and loans through the Parish Savings and Share Fund
